This mailbox post was created because my mailbox was once smashed to smithereens by a snowplow. Then I thought to myself, "Self, boxes of mail can't be smashed into a snowbank if they move when they are hit." Kaboom. A super durable mailbox post was created.
This post is galvanized, then the top is painted with equipment enamel. It automatically swings back to center, so be sure to install it oriented correctly. It was designed to be installed using a bag of cement and a post-hole digger. The work is truly worth the result.
